Photochemical Reactors

Photochemistry is a branch of chemistry concerned with the chemical effects of light. Photochemical Reactors use ultraviolet and visible radiation in place of heat in order to synthesize chemical compounds. Photochemical reactions require a light source that emits wavelengths corresponding to an electronic transition in the reactant. Photochemical Reactors can also be configured for continuous flow or batch.

Photochemical Reactor Manufacturers

Ace Glass, and Sigma-Aldrich are two popular manufacturers of photochemical reactors.
