The 300 mL Parr Reactor Vessel is a replacement pressure vessel designed specifically for the Parr 4560 Mini Reactor Series. This vessel utilizes Parr's proven Split-Ring Closure system, providing a secure, dependable seal while allowing fast vessel assembly and disassembly for laboratory research and process development applications.
Split-Ring Closure Design
The Parr Split-Ring Closure is engineered to simplify operation while maintaining the strength required for high-pressure laboratory reactions.
For vessels using a flat gasket, the closure is secured with six compression bolts that evenly distribute sealing force across the gasket, helping produce a reliable pressure-tight seal.
When configured with an O-ring seal, the Split-Ring Closure design eliminates the need for compression bolts. Internal pressure assists in maintaining the seal, allowing for quicker vessel opening and closing while reducing assembly time between experiments.
