Warranty, Returns & Terms of Sale
Thank you for shopping with HiTechTrader. We strive to ensure your satisfaction. Please read the following warranty, returns, and terms of sale carefully so you understand your rights and obligations.
1. Scope & Applicability

These terms apply to all purchases made from HiTechTrader except where a product has its own separate “Terms of Sale” or warranty (for example, Hielscher Ultrasonic equipment and parts). If you purchase Hielscher Ultrasonic items, you may request their specific documentation.

US domestic orders and Canadian orders are covered unless otherwise stated.

Dealers, brokers, or resale entities are not covered under the standard warranty/return policy unless explicitly agreed in writing.
2. Terms of Sale

Large Enterprise Accounts (e.g., Fortune 500 companies): Net 30 terms; FOB Coatesville, PA.

All Other Customers: Prepayment is required before shipment, unless otherwise arranged in writing.
3. Warranty

Most equipment is covered by a 30-day limited warranty, unless a longer or different warranty is explicitly noted at the time of purchase.

Under warranty, if the item fails to operate as specified, you may return it for repair, replacement, or refund (at our discretion).
4. Returns and Refunds
Eligibility & Authorization

You must obtain return authorization from HiTechTrader before sending any item back.

Claims for parts/items missing or damaged in transit must be made within 2 business days after you receive the merchandise.
Return Window

You may return most items within 30 days of receipt if you are unsatisfied with the purchase, subject to the conditions below.
Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a full refund or exchange, returned items must:

Be in the same condition as originally shipped, including all packaging, manuals, accessories, and any inserts.

Be shipped back in the same manner as originally shipped (for example, if a pallet was used, return via a pallet).

Not have been modified, misused, or damaged by user error.
If these conditions are not met, we reserve the right to refuse the return or to impose a restocking fee (minimum 15%).
Shipping Costs & Liability

The purchaser is responsible for all transportation / return shipping costs, unless the return is due to a HiTechTrader error (defective, incorrect item).

We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising from use or sale of a product—our liability is limited to the value of the product itself.
5. Refunds & Exchanges

Refunds are issued in the same payment form used for purchase. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, please allow 5-7 business days for processing.

If you request an exchange, the replacement(s) will be processed in a similar 5-7 business day timeframe.
6. Final & International Sales

International sales are final; warranty or returns may not apply outside the US & Canada unless explicitly stated.

We do not sell items “AS IS” unless this is stated explicitly—verbal assurances are not sufficient to override this term.
7. Liability Disclaimer

HiTechTrader is not liable for misprints, typographical errors, or informational inaccuracies on our website or in any other publication.

Our liability is limited strictly to the value of the merchandise.
